ISO Training Terms

The terms that apply to ISO training courses, workshops and professional development delivered by CAQA ISO.

1. What these terms cover

These ISO Training Terms apply to webinars, workshops, short courses, awareness sessions, internal auditor training, lead auditor pathway programs, professional development sessions and online or face-to-face events delivered by CAQA ISO. They cover registration, payment, attendance, substitutions, cancellations, rescheduling, recordings, event materials, speaker or program changes, attendee conduct and accessibility support.

2. Who our training is for

CAQA ISO training is designed for quality managers, compliance and audit staff, teams from registered training organisations and other education providers, business owners and government personnel who work with management-system standards, including quality, environmental, work health and safety, and information security management systems. Some programs assume prior familiarity with the relevant standard or with auditing practice; any prerequisites are stated in the program description or confirmed with you during booking, and you are responsible for choosing a program that suits your role and objectives.

3. Bookings and payment

Training places are booked by enquiry through our contact page, by emailing info@caqa.com.au or by calling 1800 266 160. No payments are taken through this website. A booking is confirmed when we issue a written confirmation, and fees are invoiced under that confirmation or the applicable engagement terms. In-house and corporate programs are scoped and quoted separately, and the quoted scope prevails over general program descriptions on this website.

4. Attendance and participant responsibilities

Participants are responsible for attending on time, completing any stated pre-work, bringing or accessing the materials specified for the session, and participating professionally and respectfully. For online sessions, participants need a reliable internet connection, a current browser and working audio, and joining links must not be shared with people who are not registered. CAQA ISO is not responsible for a participant’s inability to attend or connect where the cause is outside our control.

5. Certificates

Unless a program description expressly states otherwise, certificates issued by CAQA ISO are certificates of attendance and confirm participation in the session. Where a program includes an assessment component, a certificate of completion is issued only after that assessment has been satisfactorily completed. Certificates do not certify your organisation’s management system, do not constitute or replace third-party certification, and do not guarantee any audit, certification, regulatory or employment outcome.

6. Substitutions and transfers

If a registered participant can no longer attend, a colleague from the same organisation may attend in their place at no additional cost, provided we are notified before the session begins. Requests to transfer a booking to a later scheduled session are accommodated where places are available, in accordance with our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

7. Program changes

We may vary trainers, presenters, session order, venue or delivery platform where reasonably required, provided the overall learning outcomes remain substantially the same. If we materially change the date of a program, or cancel it, the options in our Cancellation and Refund Policy apply, including transfer to another session or a full refund of prepaid fees.

8. Materials and recordings

Training workbooks, slides, templates, checklists and recordings are provided for the personal use of registered participants and for reasonable internal use within their organisation. They must not be resold, redistributed, published, uploaded to shared libraries or supplied to third parties without our written permission, and copyright notices must not be removed. Where a recording of a live session is offered, access is provided for the review period stated at the time.

9. Conduct

We may decline entry to, or remove from, a session any person whose behaviour is unsafe, unlawful, discriminatory, harassing or persistently disruptive. Fees are not refunded where a participant is removed on these grounds.

10. Accessibility support

Please tell us about any access requirements, such as alternative-format materials, captioning needs or venue access, when you book. We will make reasonable adjustments so that participants can take part fully, consistent with our Accessibility Statement.

11. Contact

Questions about these terms or about a booking can be sent to info@caqa.com.au, raised by phone on 1800 266 160, or submitted through our contact page.
