How CAQA ISO supports certification-readiness, and why third-party certification decisions rest with certification bodies.
Information on the CAQA ISO website is general in nature and is not a substitute for tailored professional advice. CAQA ISO provides training, implementation support and internal audit services through agreed scopes of work based on the information supplied by the client, the applicable standards and the purpose of the engagement. Regulatory, funding, accreditation, audit, legal, financial, certification or approval outcomes are determined by the relevant authority, body or decision-maker and cannot be guaranteed by website content.
CAQA ISO, part of CAQA Groups and a Career Calling International initiative, supports organisations to become and remain certification-ready. Our services include ISO training courses, internal auditor and lead auditor pathway training, internal audits as a service, gap analysis and readiness reviews, management system builds and implementation support, CAPA and management review support, and preparation for surveillance and recertification audits across management-system standards. These services are delivered to quality managers, compliance teams, education providers, businesses and government organisations under agreed engagements, and no payments for them are taken through this website.
CAQA ISO is not a certification body and does not issue, grant or award ISO certification. Decisions to grant, maintain, extend, reduce, suspend or withdraw certification of a management system remain at all times with independent third-party certification bodies operating under their own accreditation arrangements. An internal audit, gap analysis or readiness review performed by CAQA ISO is not a certification audit, and a CAQA ISO training certificate is a record of attendance or completion, not certification of an organisation or a formally regulated qualification.
Engaging CAQA ISO for readiness, implementation, training or internal audit support improves preparation but does not guarantee that a certification body will grant or continue certification, that an audit will be free of nonconformities, or that any regulator, funding body or customer will accept a particular outcome. Certification bodies apply their own audit programs, interpretations, sampling and decision processes, which are outside our control.
Our advice, findings and recommendations rely on the documents, records, data and access provided by the client and on the circumstances existing at the time of the engagement. Incomplete, inaccurate or outdated information may affect the usefulness of our work, and findings reflect the sample of evidence reviewed rather than an assurance that every issue has been identified.
ISO and other management-system standards, accreditation rules and regulatory requirements change over time, and transition timelines are set by the bodies that publish them. Content on this website reflects our understanding at the time of publication and may not reflect subsequent amendments. You should confirm current requirements with the relevant standard, certification body or regulator before making decisions.
Clients select and engage their certification body directly. CAQA ISO can help you prepare for the audit program your certification body sets, explain findings and support corrective action, but we do not select the certification body on your behalf, we do not participate in its decision-making, and we receive no authority from any certification body to speak for it. Fees, scheduling, audit scope and certification conditions are matters between your organisation and the certification body you appoint.
Nothing on this website constitutes legal, financial, tax, insurance or engineering advice, and website content does not take account of your organisation’s specific circumstances. Where those matters arise, you should obtain advice from an appropriately qualified professional. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
If you would like to discuss how these limits apply to a proposed engagement, contact us at info@caqa.com.au, call 1800 266 160, or use our contact page.
